Usually, yes. Master-planned communities like Sienna typically ask owners to get approval for decks, pergolas and patio covers before building starts. We'll give you the size, height, materials and stain color so you can fill out the request, and we start once it's approved.
Should I build a deck or a patio cover in my Sienna backyard?
It depends on what you want. A deck gives you more usable space, especially on a sloped or soggy yard. A patio cover gives you shade on the slab you already have. Plenty of people want both, and we can plan them together so they look like one project.
How often does a deck in Sienna need to be re-stained?
